Impact leaders are the best!  IA’s NEW Vice Principal (and former rockstar math teacher) Marjorie Johnson joined Envision Learning Partners down in San Diego for this year’s Deeper Learning Conference. Marjorie presented and facilitated on a workshop on Math Language Routines (MLRs), sharing innovative curriculum ideas for helping students master mathematical thinking.

The workshop explored instructional routines that can be used to get students talking and writing in their math class in ways that help students make deeper sense of math concepts, while helping teachers do a better job of assessing what and how students are thinking.
