Our founding 7th grade class is excited to announce our first ever exhibition: Citizens for Change!

  • November 17th, 2016 6:00-8:00pm
  • Impact Academy of Arts and Technology

Essential Question:  How can we change our current political parties’ ideals to have a stronger representation of who we are?

Humanities: For the past 2 months, students have been studying the foundations of the two leading political parties. Students read about current issues facing our country.  After examining how political leaders plan to handle important issues such as: immigration, Civil Rights, and education, students formed their own political parties, based on what they want to see changed.

On Exhibition Night, all attendees will get to vote for the political party you want to join, using an official ballot!

Our students have been practicing the 5 P’s of presenting (personality, projection, pacing, poise, and posture).  Students will use these 5 P’s while presenting their political party’s platform on Exhibition Night.

In order to practice the 5 P’s for exhibition night students have been delivering humorous skits and spontaneous speeches in Physical Activities, and the use of non-fiction text to develop and make informative presentations about an animal in STEM.

We look forward to seeing you at exhibition night!
